- In November of 2018 I spent 6 weeks at an artist residency in Olafsfjordur Iceland.
During my time there, I spent a lot of time recording sounds of the environment during day and night while walking around the town and hiking in the mountains and valleys surrounding the town.
When weather was inclement I would sit inside my room. Listening to the sounds happening outside through the windows and walls of the house.
On one particularly stormy night I thought to myself, why am I not recording this!? Then I've proceeded to set up mics to make a recording of what was happening outside. The various sounds heard on this recording almost seem to have been manipulated by filters and eq, but
they are completely untouched.

This album sounds like a hazy memory from a time when you were blissfully unaware of the end, and now you’re reminiscing and swimming inside those visions, longing. Fabio Viola

Along with "Zonk", this release is DODT's very best. Pure sonic dopamine for deep chilling or plain zonking out. A must-have for the serious psychonautical toolkit. JLP
